GO GREEN COMMITTEE - TERMS OF REFERENCE

Name of Committee: Go Green

Representation: The Committee shall represent all services.

Purpose:

• To work toward the full benefit of a green work environment.
• To be ecologically responsible through the development of an annual Go Green plan.
• Make recommendations in regards to recognition/incentives for Go Green practices/policy throughout the organization.

Committee Functions:

• Research best practices for a Go Green environment.
• Make recommendations in regards to green practices and policy.
• Make recommendations in regards to employee training/education of green practices.
• Identify barriers to Go Green and make recommendations for change.
• Make recommendations for Go Green incentives and recognition.

Committee Composition:

• Committee members on committee for one year

Records:

• Email committee meeting minutes. Minutes will be going into Go Green committee folder

Meetings:

• Once per month.

Agenda/Minutes:

• Alternate chairperson and minute taker.
