Who We Are

Partners in Employment Services is an employment service that assists individuals with developmental disabilities in the pursuit and attainment of their career goals.

In 1988, Langley Association for Community Living offered supported employment services to individuals with a developmental disability who wanted to contribute and work in the community.  Since this time, Partners in Employment Services has evolved into a comprehensive employmnet service; working in partnership with participants, the business community, the Ministry and Community Living BC (CLBC).

What We Do

• Individual employment planning
  
• Resume preparation
  
• Interview skills
  
• Employment counselling
  
• Assistance with marketing and job search
  
• On-site training and monitoring
  
• Liaise with employers and particpants
  
• Work in partnership with the business community
  
• Follow up

Eligibility

• Referred through CLBC
• Fee for services available
