8. Everyone has the right to speak out for yourself.
9. Everyone has the right to good medical care.
10. Everyone has the right to be spoken to respectfully.
11. Everyone has the right live in a safe place.
12. Everyone has the right to privacy:
a) People should not touch or take things.
b) People should not go through our things.
c) You have the right to decide who comes into your room.
d) People should knock before coming in.
e) Everyone has the right to the same privacy rules.
13. Everyone has the right to privacy of body:
a) No one is allowed to come into your room when you are getting dressed.
b) No one should touch us in a way we don’t like.
c) People should ask permission before they touch you.
14. People have the right to confidentiality.
15. Everyone has the right to decide who knows the information about them.
16. No one should force people to answer questions or give information.
17. Everyone has the right to acknowledgment.
18. Everyone has the right to communicate in his or her own way.
19. Everyone has the right to self-advocacy and to attend a self-advocate group.
